Ingredients:

½ cup crushed orange (cut up orange slices into tiny pieces -no skin or pulp)

¼ tsp. orange food coloring

½ Tsp. orange extract
-
2 tbsps. poppy seeds
-
2 small eggs
-
1 ½ cups cold milk
-
1/3 cup granulated sugar
-
1 ½ packages active dry yeast
-
2 tsp. salt
-
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
-
4 ½ cups bread flour
Instructions:

In an electric mixer with a bread hook, combine the orange food coloring, crushed orange, orange extract, poppy seeds, eggs, and milk together. Mix well.

On low speed, add the dry ingredients. Once blend, turn the speed up to medium for 15 minutes. Cover and let sit for 15 minutes.

Prepare a greased cookie sheet.

On a clean lightly floured surface, cut into 36 equal pieces and shape into round balls.

Place the balls on the prepared cookie sheet barely touching. Cover them and let them sit until they double in size. Usually about 30 minutes.

Preheat over to 400F and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. They will become golden brown.
