Narcoossee’s Cheesecake

Yield: 1 10-inch cheesecake


  • 2 pounds cream cheese

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 3 tbsp heavy cream

  • 3 tbsp sour cream

  • 6 eggs

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • Pie Dough (enough for the bottom of a 10-inch cake pan (about half a recipe)


  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  2. Grease and flour a 10-inch round cake pan.

  3. Roll out the pie dough and cover the bottom of the pan with the dough.

  4. In a large bowl, cream together the cream cheese and sugar.

  5. Add the heavy cream and sour cream to the bowl. Beat until really smooth.

  6. One at a time, add the eggs. Mixing well after every egg.

  7. Add the lemon juice and vanilla. Mix well.

  8. Place the pan in a water bath, and pour batter into the pan. Bake for 2 hours. It is ready when the center is set.

  9. Let cool on the counter for 1 hour in the pan.

  10. Remove from the pan and place in the refrigerator. Serve cold and with berries.
