Ingredients:

1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp cinnamon
-
4 slice sourdough bread (1/2 inch thick)

4 eggs (well beaten)

Soybean oil
-
Confectioners’ sugar
Instructions:

On a plate, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.

Heat soybean oil.

Cut sourdough slice diagonally.

In a medium bowl, place beaten eggs. Soak a piece of bread.

Immediately place in hot oil and fry the piece of bread. Remember to flip halfway through to fry both sides.

Remove from oil and roll in sugar mixture. Sprinkle confectioners sugar over the piece. Repeat with all bread slices until done.
