Yield – 9 3-inch squares
Ingredients:

1 1/4 sticks butter
-
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed

1 cup flour
-
1/2 tsp. salt
-
1 tsp. baking powder
-
2 eggs
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 cup chopped walnuts
-
4 cups chopped pecans
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375F degrees

Butter and flour a 9 x 9-inch pan.

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar. Add one egg at a time. Beat well after each egg.

Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and blend well.

With a spatula, fold in the nuts.

Spread batter over the geared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
