Yield: 5 cups
Ingredients Strawberry Sauce:

1 cup strawberry preserves

1/2 cup water
-
1 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
Ingredients Rice-Cream:

1 1/2 cups water
-
1/4 tsp. salt
-
1 cup short-grain white rice
-
2 cups milk
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1/4 cup sugar
-
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Instructions Strawberry Sauce:

In a blender, blend the strawberry preserves, water, and lemon juice.
Instructions Rice-Cream:

In a large saucepan, boil 1 1/2 cups of salted water.

Reduce the heat and add the rice. Cook for 15 minutes. Cook until all the water is dissolved.

Add the mix to the mixture and simmer for 20 minutes. Cook until all the milk is dissolved. Place mixture in a bowl and let cool.

In a large bowl, whip the cream. Whip in the sugar and vanilla. Fold the whipped cream into the cooled mixture.

Drizzle the strawberry sauce over the rice-cream.
