Ingredients:

1 cup raspberries

¼ cup granulated sugar

2 cups heavy cream

1 tablespoon powdered sugar

1 tablespoon cherry brandy
Instructions:

In a bowl, crush the raspberries.

In a small saucepan, place the crushed raspberries and sugar. Simmer until thick syrup forms.

Using a fine sieve, force raspberries through the sieve to remove the seeds. Let cool aside.

In a medium bowl, beat together the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla.

In a small bowl, combine the raspberry syrup and cherry brandy.

Fold the syrup mixture into the whipped cream. Chill for one hour before serving. Top with more whipped cream.
