Ingredients:

• Vanilla Cake Mix

• Blue Food Coloring

• Vanilla Frosting

• Red-dyed Gumpaste

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350F.

2. Line your cupcake tray with gold foil cupcake liners.

3. Make the cupcakes as per the box or personal recipe.

4. Once fully baked, let the cupcakes cool for about 15 minutes in the pan. After the 15 minutes is up, remove them from the pan and let them cool on a wire rack.

5. Prepare your frosting by either making the buttercream or open your favorite prepared canned frosting. Use your blue food coloring to color your icing blue. Once fully mixed, place the icing in a piping bag. If you don’t have any piping bags, you can also use a large ziplock bag and cut off a little corner of the bag. It will really do the same thing.

6. Pipe the blue frosting onto the cupcake by going in a circular like to start in the middle and work your way outside then up. That way it will give a little base to help you build some height. These cupcakes use a lot of icing as you have probably guessed.

7. Now you need to make the bow. You want to roll out some gum paste that you have dyed red. It’s best to do this by spreading some cornstarch on a clean surface. The gum paste is going to pick up any little bits of everything on your counter, so make sure it’s super clean before you start rolling out your dough.

8. Once your gum paste is rolled out, you want to cut two 4”x1” strips and one 3”x”1 strip. You want to bring the edges of the longer strip towards each other in the center. The best way to get it to stay is to use a little water to glue it down. This will be super helpful when adding the other strip. Use the smaller strip and wrap it around the center of the bow. You want to use a little bit of water again to keep it in place. I would actually press together a little bit too to help it all stick to each other.

9.  Place the bow on top of the cupcake and enjoy your Snow White Cupcakes.
