Ingredients:

1 Pinch cream of tartar

2 egg whites

3 1/2 cups powdered sugar – sifted
Instructions:

In a medium bowl, add the cream of tartar and egg whites. Beat at a high speed until soft peaks form.

Reduce speed to low and slowly add the sifted sugar. Beat until a smooth consistency is reached.

Frosting will dry hard on the cookie.

How many cookies will this produce icing for?
It’s really hard to tell because it depends on the size of the cookie and how many layers you do on them too. Royal icing is funny like that sometimes.
