Disney Park Recipe: Caramel Corn

Ingredients:

6 qts. popped popcorn

2 cups packed brown sugar

1 cup butter

1/2 cup corn syrup

1 tsp. salt

1 tbsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp. baking soda
Instructions:

Pop the popcorn.

In a large bowl, place the popcorn and set the bowl aside.

Preheat your oven to 250F.

Grease two 9×13-inch baking pans and set aside.

In a large saucepan, bring to boil the brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Make sure to keep stirring. Boil for 5 minutes and then remove from the heat.

Into the mixture, stir in the vanilla and baking soda. Mix until well combined.

Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and stir well. Make sure all the popcorn is coated.

Pour the mixture into the baking pans.

Let the mixture cool completely. Once cooled, place in an air-tight container.
