German Chocolate Frosting

Disney Park Recipe:

Ingredients Topping:

•    1 Cup evaporated milk

•    1 ½ cups sugar

•    1 cup butter, softened

•    3 egg yolks

•    ¼ tsp. vanilla

•    1 ½ cups pecans, chopped

•    1 ½ cups coconut, flaked

Instructions Topping:

1.    In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, butter and egg yolks.

2.    Over medium heat, cook the mixture comes to a boil and becomes thick. This should take about 10 minutes.

3.    Remove from heat; add the vanilla, pecans, and coconut. Set aside and let cool completely.
