Heellllooo DisBakers!

How’s life going out there in the Disney community? This girl just got back from Walt Disney World and had a great time.

The only thing was I was looking forward to buying a ton of Disney Eats brand stuff but that didn’t happen. Not from lack of trying but from lack of products. I didn’t see one Disney Eats display anywhere. I saw a couple left over products but that’s it. My husband said maybe the product line isn’t doing very well. That makes me sad, I was so excited when they launched.

Hello beautiful people!

I know this is where I’m supposed to talk about our top posts from last year… it is any of the Banana Breads incase you were wondering… holy cow you guys love it. People sure do love Banana Bread.

I thought instead of looking back, we could look forward. Ok I know that’s not very original either, it is the new year after all.

Hi Beautiful Bakers

people holding hello baloons

Hello, brave bakers of Oh Sweet Disney!

I wanted to talk about something today and that’s anxiety.

Why am I talking about this on a baking blog? Well, because it’s real life. Yes, this blog is about Disney and its super sweets but it’s also about you and me taking a moment out of our lives to hang out in the kitchen. Just two Disney friends spending some time together.

Friday, Friday, gonna get down on Friday …

Sorry I had too. I’m currently reading a marketing book (yup that’s how I get down on a Friday afternoon) and they were talking about Rebecca Black’s famous viral video “Friday”. If you haven’t seen this video… where were you in 2011? There is zero percent chance you were on the internet or talked to anyone. Don’t google it. It will be stuck in your head forever. It may have been voted the worst song ever but damn if it’s not catchy.

Today is Friday and Friday is the day we talk about anything really. It could be Disney Podcasts you should listen too, other Disney sites you need to check out or really anything that’s on my brain. It’s just you and I (ignore everyone else reading this) chatting about life, baking, and Disney.

Imagine…

Good morning bakers,

As I write this is currently 4:46am and I’m laying in bed. My Basset hound Mollie wakes up at 4:30 every morning for breakfast. Every. Single. Morning. This is not a choice we’ve made. We would rather she sleep in but regardless of our sleep patterns she is determined to keep her schedule.

She will go from a deep sleep to crying at your bedside in 3.2 seconds. From full to starving in a second. She will go out, eat, have her eye drops and be sleeping again in ten minutes. Then she will sleep for 6 hours. A creature of routine if I have ever seen one.

Sunrise and Disney thoughts

Good morning happy bakers!

As I write this I’m currently sitting on a lawn chair watching the sunrise. That may give you the mental image of me sitting by some beautiful lake at the cottage watching the beautiful orange ball rise in the sky. That’s not exactly what’s happening.

I’m actually sitting in my living room on top of a stack of two lawn chairs in a high rise apartment. We have moved all our stuff over the weekend and these two chairs and an air mattress are pretty much all we have left in here. The chairs are covered in spray paint too because years ago I used them to hold something while I spray painted it red. I was trying to save some money and ended up spray painting the chair, carpet, and my dog a little by accident.

Recipe Featured on The Disney Driven Life

Good day, Disney Bakers!

Around here we love being part of the Disney community. It’s this fantastic group of Disney nerds who are sharing their love with the rest of the world. Recently we were lucky enough to have one of our team members guest post on The Disney Driven Life.

She created the Baymax cupcake from Disney Family. Check it out by click here. It’s a cute and quick little post called “BayMax to the Cupcake Rescue“.

Hello awesome bakers!

I know I said in the “about section” that this site would be a break from the outside world. We that’s mostly true.

I don’t want politics, finance or celebrity gossip to be our main focus around here. I do, on the other hand, want to talk about real life sometimes. Not the Kardashians problems but the issues that affect all our daily life.
