So today is the first recipe from our new cookbook called “The Magic Kitchen Cookbook” and it’s Monsters Inc themed. Remember a week ago I told you we were starting to do every sweet and baking recipe in the book “tomorrow”? Well tomorrow is a week later and we are just starting. I don’t have an excuse, I just got excited about the baking and eating part and didn’t get around the writing part. Eating is just so much fun. Which is very apparent by my waist size but I’m getting off topic now.
Long time no talk! This is where I should say that I’ve been off saving the world or I found a cure for the Dole Whip addiction (not that we need a cure for it), but alas (who says alas these days), I just haven’t written in a while. I’m glad to be back with you and I can’t wait to introduce you to this new cookbook.
Ok new is a relative word. I probably found and ordered this copy online 3 or 4 years ago and even then it was used. Apparently it used to belong to “Lyla Kate Long” according to the front of the book. I’m not exactly sure what Lyla did to get her book sold but I hope it wasn’t something as simple as burning cookies.
Rajah Tiger Fudge
How’s life going out there in the Disney community? This girl just got back from Walt Disney World and had a great time.
The only thing was I was looking forward to buying a ton of Disney Eats brand stuff but that didn’t happen. Not from lack of trying but from lack of products. I didn’t see one Disney Eats display anywhere. I saw a couple left over products but that’s it. My husband said maybe the product line isn’t doing very well. That makes me sad, I was so excited when they launched.
Hi happy bakers!
I thought I would tell you guys a funny story today about when I first moved to Florida. It’s a fish out of water type story and now I can look back upon it and laugh. My husband is from the south and there were certain things about living in the south he didn’t to warm me because he grew up there.
Hi happy bakers,
You guys have really liked in the past when we showcased members of the Disney community. We have talked about bloggers, vloggers, and podcasters. If they are part of the Disney community, we want to promote them. Around here we believe there is enough room in this community for everyone to succeed. It might sound cheesy but if we just help each other out then we will all shine.
Today in our Disney Community spotlight we are talking about the Obscure Disney Podcast. They have new episodes ever Tuesdays and Thursday. I listen to them on iTunes and you can find all their information at www.obscuredisneypodcast.com .
Hey you lovely DisBakers,
Today’s is decorating day everyone!
First if you haven’t seen the last two posts in our series you should check them out first.

It’s the start of our Mickey Valentine’s cookie series. Way too often we see recipes with a hundred ingredients, and that take hours to make. Boo on that.
I thought it would be fun to create a series of different cookies using one cookie and two colors. Simple. Things don’t have to be complicated to be delicious. It’s a nice idea to make 8 different kinds of cookies with 16 different colors but people are busy and don’t have time for that. “I know you are 3 little Cindy, and can’t feed yourself, but momma has to shape cupids out of gumdrops and cherries for your class party tomorrow.” One cookie and two frostings sound pretty great. Especially if it’s a Disney Cookie.
Okay, so we all know that Ralph and Vanellope have the cutest friendship EVER – and this cookie-turned-cake Disney recipe is the proof of that!
It’s not only incredibly adorable – it’s also DELICIOUS!!! (Seriously, this might be the best cake I’ve ever made!)
Inspiration: Be Our Guest Restaurant
When my Prince Charming and I were on our Honeymoon in Walt Disney World, Be Our Guest Restaurant had recently opened and you better believe it was the first ADR we booked! And for the following 179 days, all I could think about was ordering the Gray Stuff.
