Hello beautiful bakers!

LOOK AT THESE BEAUTIES! I was just skimming through facebook minding my own business and BAM these babies came into my life. Look how cute they are! I need to find out more.

Disney Parks Blog released the cutest new treats coming to Disneyland Park for Gay Days. Of course, the Disney Parks Blog will never say that’s what it’s for but new rainbow food that just happens to be released October 5-7th (Unofficial Gay Days in the park) seems pretty coincidental.

Gay Days may only be this weekend but I thought it would be fun this month to make some of these super cute treats. It would be a gay old time. See what I did there? huh, huh? Ok moving on.

If you have been reading us for a while you know I love cereal treat Mickeys. I honestly can’t get enough of them. I think they are way to expensive for cereal, marshmallows, and butter in the parks but I love making them at home.

The candy shops across the parks will sell these super cute Mickeys. If you are there, you can find them in Disneyland Park at Candy Palace and Pooh Corner. At Disney’s Califonia Adventure you can find them at Trolley Treats and Bling Bong’s Sweet Stuff. Finally, at the Downtown Disney District, you can walk right on over to Marceline’s Confectionery. I think these are going to be the easiest for us to make. We already have the base treat in our recipe index. It will just be a matter of decorating them. I think these will be the first snacks we try to make.

I have been wanting to make a cake for a few days now, so this is perfect timing. Luckily I can’t think of something more fun than a Rainbow Cake. Well maybe a Rainbow cake filled with Disney gift cards, but a girl can’t have everything.

This cake has layers of chocolate mousse and I think this might be the hardest part to figure out. The rest is just layers of cake with red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple food coloring in them. Easy peasy I believe. They frost the cake in buttercream icing with rainbow sprinkles. Those just happen to be two of my favorite things. Who doesn’t like sprinkles? Noone, because they are amazing.

If you are in the parks you can get a slice at Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park, and at Pacific Wharf Cafe, Flo’s V8 Cafe, and Paradise Garden Grill in Disney’s California Adventure Park.

The next two items are both cookies, and cookies have always been a big hit in our household. The rainbow cookie is a sugar cookie with rainbow drizzle. Easy.

In the parks, you find them in numerous locations. In Disneyland, you can pick some up at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, Plaza Inn, Market House, Coffee Cart near Central Plaza, Alien Pizza Planet, Galactic Grill and Hungry Bear Restaurant. That’s quite a few places now that I have typed them out. Over at Disney California Adventure park, you can find them at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe, Pacific Wharf Cafe, Corn Dog Castle, and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta.

This chick loves me an ice cream sandwich. Like really really loves them. I was so excited to see one make the list. In the park, you can find these Rainbow Ice Cream Sandwiches at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream in Disney California Adventure park. At my house, you can soon find them in my tummy.

The cookies are basically two cookies filled with vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate and rolled in rainbow sprinkles. Disney Parks Blog didn’t mention what kind of cookies they used so I think trying to find that out might be the hardest part. They are pretty adorable though so I think it will be worth it.

We’ve saved the most interesting to the end I think. First, Schmoozies will be making a Rainbow Rock Shake with Rainbow cereal and whipped cream. They don’t really give us any more details than that. The rainbow cereal is obviously fruit loop cereal but I have no idea what’s in the shake.

Over at Award Weiners, you will find Rainbow Funnel Cake Fries topped with Condensed Milk and Rainbow Cereal. You will also be able to find the cereal topping over at the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land. There you can get them with a soft-serve cone. I think I have a recipe kicking around for Funnel Cake fries somewhere. So that will be helpful if I do. My husband is going to love these. His body may not love the sugar rush but they sure will taste good.

Disney Parks Blog also announced a new drink called the Fabulous Freeze that you can find at Hollywood lounge. I think for this time I’m going to try to make the snacks and save the drink for another day. We have a super fun collaboration with Disney Sips coming up and I’ll save the drink for that. You guys are going to love it I think.

Since it’s pretty late right now, I’ll head out to the grocery store early tomorrow morning and search for all the kinds of sugars… umm… I mean ingredients. Ok, I mean sugar.

Love you guys!
