Hello happy bakers!

Since Monday we talked about a cupcake that involved a lot of steps, I thought today we would make something super easy; Rapunzel’s Towering Parfait.

This parfait based on Rapunzel’s tower she grew up in. This one just happens to be tastier. It’s made of three simple ingredients and would be great to make with kids.

Let’s get to it!

Ingredients:

  • Lemon or vanilla pudding

  • Fresh blueberries or blackberries

  • Whipped Cream.

It should be noted I just bought the ingredients premade. Disney assumes you have and I try to follow the original recipe as close as I possibly can. That’s the way they made it so that’s how we made it.

Instructions:

  1. Spoon some pudding into the bottom of a parfait glass.

  2. Top with a layer of blueberries (or the blackberries).

  3. Top with a layer of whipped cream.

  4. Repeat until the top of the glass is reached.

  5. Top everything with some whipped cream.

  6. Garnish with a few blueberries (or the blackberries).

Super easy right?

The combination of the whipped cream with the pudding makes the pudding super light tasting. I did not expect that. I thought the pudding would make a heavy layer but it really didn’t. It was perfect.

This recipe recommends blueberries or blackberries but you can really do it with any berry. It will obviously change the taste but I think it would be just as good.

Happy parfaiting everyone!
