Hello happy bakers,

I think this might be the last of the April cookbook challenge. I know I could finish the rest of them in time but I just don’t about them. I’m going to give it a few hours though and see what I think. I always want to finish things I start but I want to make sure it’s of value to you. Our team wants to bring you the best Disney recipes. I don’t if these are it. They aren’t bad, but they… I just don’t know.

This one is pretty cute. Who doesn’t love Simba?

Ingredients:

  • 3.4 oz package instant butterscotch pudding

  • 1 1/2 cups milk

  • Whole almonds

  • Vanilla wafers

  • Black licorice strings

  • Red colored candy.

Instructions:

  1. Use vegetable oil to grease 2 ramekins.

  2. In a large saucepan, place the butterscotch pudding mix and milk. If the box calls for 2 cups of milk, only use 1.5 of the milk. Follow the directions on the box to create the pudding.

  3. Place the pudding in the ramekins, and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. It will set.

  4. Once set, use a knife around the edges to loosen the mold.

  5. Place a plate over the ramekin, and flip the ramekin over. Slowly remove the ramekin.

  6. Cut a vanilla wafer in half and place one piece on each side. These will be the ears.

  7. Place two whole almonds for the eyes, black licorice strings for the whiskers and red candy for the mouth.

Happy baking everyone!
