Hi, my baking friends!

Here’s a super easy Cheesecake topping; Blueberry sauce. It’s great to top lots of things actually. You could even use it to cover ice cream, angel food cake or vanilla pudding. Doesn’t that sound like something great to have in your recipes? I know I find it super helpful.

I don’t think it needs a huge introduction because it’s simply a great and super easy topping. Let’s get right into it.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 1 cup whole blueberries, fresh or frozen

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tbsp cold water

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the sugar, water, and blueberries until boiling. This took this a little bit go time to happen.

  2. In a small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in 1 tbsp water. I usually just do this in a mug. I just find it the easiest. Mix it into the mixture. Simmer for about 2 minutes.

  3. Let the mixture cool for 20 minutes and it will thicken.

Enjoy on top of cheesecakes. You could ever put it in other desserts like tarts or muffins. It would be amazing and tasty.

Happy baking friends!
